1. High Ventilation area  - 

For high ventilation area, conventional cooling only PAU will supply near satuation air.  As the retention time of the air in the inside is not long enough, the sensible heat that can be picked up by the air is very little, therefore the humidity of this high ventilation area will become very high, no matter what temperature is set.  By using this system to supply dry and cool make up air, the indoor humidity can be controlled easily, without being too cold for human comfort and energy saving.

 

2.  High internal humidity load  -

This equipment is very efficient in removing humidity even at low temperature.  It is more efficient than any cooling coil dehumidifier.  When compared to desiccant wheel system, the energy efficiency is about 100-200% more efficient than desiccant wheel system.  By replacing the desiccant wheel with this equipment, the energy saved can pay back this equipment in half year.

 

3.  Low dew point requirement  -

This machine can create very dry air (below 2 g/kg, -8C dew poit), cost at just a fraction of other existing equipment.  For many cases, low humidity is very important for quality assurance, while the temperature does not needed to be too cold.  Normally, a reheat coil is needed after cooling coil.  The cooling coil removing very little water by overcooling the air to the dew point,  then reheat the air for a comfortable temperature.  This waste so much energy.  Further, for low dew point area, cooling the air will remove very little water.  For dew point lower than 0C, it is not possible for conventional equipment to remove any water from the air.  Usually, desiccant wheel is used for this application.  however, our equipment is usually more efficient than desiccant wheel.  And that efficiency different is so huge that replacing a desiccant wheel with our machine, the energy saved can recover the cost in half year.

For supermarket, cold storage, ice rink, drying the air can produce greater save at all the refrigeration equipments.  Also improving the IEQ.

 

4.  Hotel application  -

For many hotels, for the guest rooms that does not receive sushine, they always suffer from mould and bad smell problems.  The reason is the supply air is at near satuation, while the room does not have any sensible heat generation, therefore, the air inside the room will become similar to the supply air.  For such high humidity, the room will mould and bacteria will grow; turning on the room AHU or using very good decoration materials will not help.  Sometimes, reheating the supply air can help.  But this practice waste so much energy as shown on the right side.  Using our machine to supply cool and dry air can solve this problem completely and most economically.  The saving is not just energy cost, but the decoration and less effort for cleaing the always mould rooms.
